Terms and Conditions for A1 PayAlert
Terms and Conditions for A1 PayAlert
These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with the A1 PayAlert mobile application (the "Service" or "App"). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the App.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.
1. Description of Service
A1 PayAlert is a utility application designed to monitor your incoming notifications on your Android device and provide real-time Text-to-Speech (TTS) voice alerts for incoming payments.
It acts as a digital soundbox or alert mechanism for merchants and users who wish to hear their transaction notifications instantly.
2. No Affiliation with Banking or Payment Processors
A1 PayAlert is an independent software tool. We are NOT affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with any banking institution or payment processing application (such as Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI, etc.).
Any brand names, trademarks, or service marks are the property of their respective owners.
A1 PayAlert simply reads the notifications generated by these third-party applications on your device.
3. App Functionality and Permissions
To use A1 PayAlert, you must grant the App specific system permissions, including but not limited to Notification Access and Background Execution (ignoring battery optimizations).
By granting these permissions, you acknowledge that the App will actively scan your incoming notifications to identify payment alerts.
The App securely processes this data locally on your device to trigger voice alerts.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of the Service are offered on a subscription basis.
At the end of your billing cycle, your subscription will automatically terminate unless renewed.
If your payment validity expires (your status changes to UNPAID), the premium notification services will cease to operate until renewed.
5. Limitation of Liability
You expressly understand and agree that A1 PayAlert and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Crucial Disclaimer Regarding Missed Alerts:
A1 PayAlert relies entirely on the Android Notification System.
If your phone delays a notification due to network issues, aggressive battery savers, internet connectivity drops, or bugs within the third-party payment app itself, A1 PayAlert will not be able to announce it.
We are not responsible for any financial loss or business disruption caused by missed, delayed, or inaccurate voice alerts.
6. Accounts and Security
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times.
Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access the Service.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
